@ it depends to be honest, as metric as we are lots of older folk like me mostly use imperial measures. We still have miles on road signs, pints in pubs, I know Fahrenheit better than Celsius and stones/lbs for weight

Maybe, I do have a strange sports comic here and there, they were put into a couple of strange runs I think, like DC presents or something like that, hopefully this wasn't a double. Talking of which I managed to get some Metal Men doubles, are you collecting that run?

@@thegreyman I have the two showcases up to issue #35, so keep thinking about getting the rest in comic form, apart from #42-44 as they are reprints so it would be #36 to #41 #45 to #56

@@thegreyman It was the beginning of the new stories, they cut out the science fiction, it became Detective story orientated again! I wouldn't of thought Elongated man's first appearance in Detective would of added much to the price, he had been in Flash for quite a while!

All these extra 100 and 80 pagers and giants and annuals gets very confusing!! They all have lovely covers though

@@thegreyman Yes they are always bright and colourful! But back then they did get thereselves into a mess with numbering! I remember in the early 70's a mystery book came out I think an 80 pager to begin with numbered #4. I spent a few years trying to find #1 to 3, but eventually found out they didn't exist!

Yeah I'm not sure how those engines would connect to a toy car or boat even, seems like a waste of cash to me, even at 89c, save that cash for your comics kids! I don't think I have read any Shade, not even the reboot I don't think. Certainly not a character I am familiar with at all. How can Clark get his Kryptonian hair cut? Read this story to find out!! My guesses would be Red K or a robot with a wig! You can use it as a cliff hanger on one of your haul vids!

There are not many names left that haven't already been taken and they have been Void since 1999. So they've had the name for a fair while now. What did you think of the music though?

@@thegreyman Well, i didn't dismiss them (at first) becauseoif the name, but combintion of light blast-beats over whiny Harry Potter-inspired Goth chic magnet sounds, just reminds me of vanilla Kaka like this is even classed as "metal". It's like if Coldplay put on bulletbelt & listening to a Darkthrone album for a few weeks. To me, it's absolutely horrendous & makes me realize just how far things have splintered away from the original spirit of blast beat metal that went hand-in hand with aggressive stage presentation, to this Harry Potter/Lord of the Rings Beige rock. Is this what brings the chunky girls, all-dressed in black now?

@@Malegys This band have always changed their style and image pretty much from album to album, this was a bit different for them, more experimental maybe. I do believe there were one or two ample ladies in black at this gig but I think they were there for the other bands. Speaking of which, feel free to check them out too

They have a bit of doom in the mix probably. My band was Suffering, I do have some footage on my channel
